Extension Service by Department of Sociology, Dr.kekhrieseno Christina, HoD, Dept. of Sociology & Purlemla Longkumer, Asst. Prof., Dept of Sociology participated as resource person at a seminar on the theme “The Impact of Popular Culture on Indigenous Societies” which was held at St. Xavier College, Umoid, Meghalaya. This event was organised by the Department of Sociology, St. Xavier College, Umoid, Meghalaya for Students and Faculty of the college. Subsequently, a session tailored for faculty members ensued, focusing on academic writing, mentoring students and research methodologies.
