2nd September, 2022: Department of Tenyidie organises a Folksong Revival Class with Khrietuolie Mezhu as the Resource Person for students enrolled in the Tenyidie Honours Programme

Department of Tenyidie, Kohima College invited Khrietuolie Mezhu as the Resource Person for Folksong Revival Class for the students enrolled in the Tenyidie Honours Programme. Mezhu is a recipient of the Governor’s Award in the field of Music & Arts.

19th March, 2022: Department of Tenyidie organises a Traditional Basket Making Workshop for 6th Semester Tenyidie Honour Students

The 6th Semester Tenyidie Honour Students were introduced to traditional Naga bamboo basket-making.

12th April, 2022: Department of Tenyidie organised an exposure trip to a Bamboo Forest with Tenyidie Honours Students

The 2020 Tenyidie Honour Students visited a Bamboo Forest both as an outing and also as an exposure trip.

22nd September, 2021: Department of Political Science in collaboration with Department of Tenyidie organised a Felicitation Programme for Merit Awards winners

The aforementioned departments organised a felicitation programme to honour the merit prize winners—Winner of Political Science Merit Award 2021: Highest scorer in Political Science, Kevimhietuo Mepfü-O & Winner of Alumni Association Merit Prize 2021: University topper in Tenyidie, Rajuseno Lhousa.

24th April, 2021: Department of Tenyidie organised a Departmental outing for the 6th Semester Tenyidie Honour Students

The 2021 Tenyidie Honour were taken for a departmental outing to the outskirt hills of Kohima district.

Dr Ketoukhrieu, Assistant Professor from the Department of Political Science presented her paper on “The Imaginary Line: Interrogating India’s Foreign Policy on Indo—Myanmar border”. It was chaired by Zeneinuo Solo, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Political Science & concluding remarks given by Lashili G Chishi, Assistant Professor, also from Department of Political Science, Kohima College
