June 2022: Donation of blankets to the families of the victims of Oting massacre

The Cultural Club of Kohima College donated several blankets to the families of the victims of Oting massacre.

16th May, 2022: Donation of College Shirts to Nokhu Village by Sales Committee, KCK

Kohima College T-shirts were distributed to children of Nokhu Village, Kohima district by the Sales Committee, Kohima College.

26th March, 2022: NSS, Kohima College unit organised a Cleanliness Drive at
Government Middle School, Kruoliezou, Kohima & also donated Green Writing Boards to the same

41 NSS student volunteers participated in the Cleanliness Drive organised by NSS, Kohima College unit at Government Middle School, Kruoliezou, Kohima. Kohima College also donated 6 Green Writing Boards & writing chalks in support of this cause.

18th March, 2022: Mitelephe Village adopted by Kohima College for (2022—2023)

The college has once again adopted a village, this time—Mitelephe (Kohima district), as an undertaking towards community social service.

1st October, 2021: Distribution of Provisions on International Day of Older Persons

Students & faculty of Kohima College distributed provisions to several elders living in the college vicinity.

4th May, 2021: Department of Political Science donated some Healthy Food to Goodwill Boys Hostel to aid during the scarcity of Covid-19 Pandemic lockdown

Since Covid-19 Pandemic lockdown announcement in Nagaland, the college hostels suffered from severe shortage of supplies. As such, Department of Political Science, using the Department Fund funded by its faculty, sponsored some supplies to the Goodwill Boys Hostel. The items were pork meat, Eggs, Chicken, Fruits like Watermelon, Apples, Oranges etc.

2020: Kohima College Faculty Volunteers for Central Kitchen for Covid-19 patients of
Nagaland

Led by the Vice-Principal then, Thinokhrienuo Tseikhanuo, 6 faculty members volunteered as help in the Central Kitchen during the Covid-19 Pandemic Lockdown period. This kitchen was supplying food for the quarantined Covid-19 patients at the various quarantined centres in Nagaland.

27th September, 2018: Contribution of Rs 1 lakh towards the CM’s Relief Fund

The Principal & Kohima College Faculty contributes a sum of Rs 1 Lakh for the CM’s Relief Fund to aid the victims affected by natural calamities

14th September, 2018: Cleanliness Drive at Puliebadze Wildlife Sanctuary themed “We Support Cleanliness”

The Kohima College Students’ Council (KCSC) organised a cleanliness drive at Puliebadze Wildlife Sanctuary, a location also important for World War II.

18th March, 2017: Adoption of Chakhabama village by NSS, Kohima College

The NSS unit of Kohima College adopted Chakhabama village of Kohima district. This unit also organised a “One Day Cleanliness Drive” in this adopted village. The NSS student volunteers along with 1 Faculty Program Officer participated in the activity.
