25th Sept, 2019: One Day Workshop on “Mentoring College Students” organised by Student Counselling, Mentoring & Career Guidance Cell & IQAC, KCK
Dr Imtinaro Lomgkumer, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, Don Bosco College was the Resource Person for this workshop. The objective was to orient the faculty members on the right attitude & techniques for mentoring young adults; since the faculty were also mentors to the Kohima College students. Attended by 39 faculty members, the sessions were highly interactive, insightful & informative.
14th February, 2019: Awareness Programme on “Mental Health” organised by Student Counselling, Mentoring & Career Guidance Cell in collaboration with District Mental Health Program, NHAK
The resource persons were Ms Veronica, Psychiatric Social Worker, NHAK & Ms Ketouseno, Clinical Psychiatrist, NHAK. The topics they spoke were “Mental Health, Mental Disorders” & “Depression & Anxiety” respectively. Both the sessions were highly informative & enlightening.
