9th—11th July, 2024: Dr Ketoukhrie-ü, Department of Political Science & IQAC Coordinator, presented a research paper titled “Centring Welfare in the Peripheries: Interrogating the State’s Welfarist Approach in Indo-Myanmar Borderlands”, at the AAS IN ASIA Conference 2024, Organised by Association for Asian Studies & Universitas Madja Gada, Yogyakarta, Indonesia

This conference was attended by more than 1400 scholars from more than 40 countries.  She attended in this conference as a part of the project “Cultivating the Humanities and Social Sciences and Supporting Under-represented Scholars of Asia” funded and implemented by the Association for Asian Studies, Swedish International Development Agency, and Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, India.

17th—21st June, 2024: Dr Ketoukhrie-ü presented a research paper titled “Shared Identity and Solidarity Beyond Borders: Narratives from Borderland Communities along the Indo-Myanmar Borderlands”, at the International Inter-Disciplinary Conference on Myanmar Borderlands, Organised by Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok & Inya Institute, Myanmar

Dr. Ketoukhrie-ü, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science and IQAC coordinator, Kohima College Kohima, Nagaland presented a research paper titled, “Shared Identity and Solidarity Beyond Borders: Narratives from Borderland Communities along the Indo-Myanmar Borderlands”, at the International Inter-Disciplinary Conference on Myanmar’s Borderlands; It was organised by Chulalongkorn University Bangkok and Inya Institute, Myanmar. This conference brought together over 100 Border Scholars from more than 20 countries across the world.
