21st February, 2023: Students’ Counselling, Mentoring & Career Guidance Cell, Kohima College organises a workshop themed “Campus to Corporate”, in collaboration with North East Council (NEC)


“Campus to Corporate” is an employable skill development programme that aims to prepare NER youth for the very dynamic job market. It was a well-structured workshop based on the 3C’s model: CONTENT, CONFIDENCE & COMMUNICATION.

The 3-hour workshop was sub-themed on:

  • CV Building
  • Email Etiquette
  • Interview Skills

The key features of this workshop were:

  • Activity & interaction-based exercises
  • Aimed to cover 130 Higher Education Colleges till 2028
  • Provides online support for CV review
  • Collaboration with Career Guidance Cells of the colleges.

The chair of this workshop was Assistant Professor Temjenrenla Ozukum, Department of English, Kohima College. Altogether over 100 students from both Liberal Arts, Social Sciences & Commerce disciplines participated in this workshop. The 2 resource persons from the North-East Council were Nishie Agarwal, Learning & Development Specialist & Chandni Shivam, Junior Consultant. They used both ppt as well as practical thematic exercises to impart various skills to the student participants. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Diesino Soho, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce. It was a very rewarding & learning experience for the outgoing 6th Semester students who participated.
