Course Duration:

The College is affiliated to Nagaland University for the graduate degree course in Humanities and Commerce stream. The maximum duration of this course, with or without an honours subject, is 3 years (6 semesters) and a maximum of 5 years (10 semesters).

  • Brief introduction to Functional English: This is a multi- focal vocational course formulated to equip the students with communicative skills in written and spoken English, which will open up a wide spectrum of career avenues in a fast evolving knowledge society.
    • Foundational knowledge of basic linguistics and grammar
    • Mass Communication and Broadcasting, program presentation in News, Radio and Television
    • Language laboratory for interactive language learning- teaching

New CBCS Bachelors Course Outline (w.e.f July 2022):

Introduced in 2014 by the UGC, in line with the NEP 2020, this course follows a student-centric, holistic, skill-based & a multidisciplinary approach. Under this system, an undergraduate (Honours) student has to study a minimum of 26 courses & acquire a minimum of 140 credits spread over 6 semesters in 3 academic years.
