KOHIMA COLLEGE OBSERVES 54th FRESHERS’ DAY

Kohima, Aug 19: Kohima College observed it’s 54th Freshers’ Day on the 19th of August, 2023, with the special guest, Dr A Nshoga, Director, Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of Nagaland. In his speech, Dr A Nshogapointed out that the students of Kohima College were one of the luckiest students in Nagaland, as they had access to the best teachers. That they now had the accountability and responsibility for the growth of the college. He cautioned however that such a variable was not a guarantee for success; that success may only be achieved & made through “scratches, struggles & hard work”. He, further reminded the freshers that they have the unique opportunity to be the first NEP batch in Nagaland and must thus tread a different route to success in public domain. He concluded by quoting Napoleon Bonaparte, “The word impossible will be found only in the dictionary of fools”. That only by willingly rising to life’s challenges may we see a better horizon.
