College Cultural Day

Kohima, September 28 (MExN): The Kohima College Kohima cultural day held on September 27 at college auditorium with vibrant cultural extravaganza. Folk songs and dances and traditional plays were performed by the Ao, Angami, Chakhesang, Lotha, Rengma and Sema. Another unique item was the couple show in both traditional and modern attires.
Nagas have a very rich cultural and traditional values said principal of Kohima College C.Khalong Ao in the inaugural function and exhorted the young generation to preserve our unique identity. He also urged the students to live with traditional values in a good Christian life.
Kohima College Cultural Club, coordinator Asst Professor Megovono gave brief speech on the value of culture and highlighted the objective and function of Cultural Club in the college. Invocation was proposed by asstt professor Vezholü, Comperes by Weto and Wedi and vote of thanks pronounced by Satahi Puro, social and cultural secretary of Kohima College
Students Union.
